Exhibitors must pay at the gate.
Exhibitors who do not pay the entry fee will not be allowed to compete, & any fees already paid will be forfeited.
This includes exhibitors leaving exhibits in the Show Hall on Show morning. Wristbands will be distributed.

All Hall exhibits must be in their place at 9 am on Sunday, the 19th of July.
No exhibits will be admitted after this time.
Please read the Oldcastle Agricultural Show Rules & Regulations:
Judging will commence at 10 am. No persons will be allowed to remain in the
Show Hall while judging is in progress, except for those officially retained.
The Committee will not be responsible for exhibits after 6 pm
In the Home Industries classes, vouchers may be awarded instead of cash.
All championship winners will be photographed on show day with their respective cups, but the cups will not be removed from the show.
All exhibits must be the sole work of the exhibitor.
Classes 2-17 will compete for the Perpetual Challenge Cup, which will be awarded by the judge & presented by the Caffrey Family, Oldcastle.
1st Prize: €15, 2nd Prize: €10; 3rd Prize: €5.
No entries permitted on day of event.
Class 3: Best Knitted Article - any material excluding heavy wool
Class 4: One Pair of Hand-Knitted Gloves Socks or Hat
Class 5: Hand-Knitted Garment, Ladies/Gents - can include Aran pattern
Class 6: Best Knitted Article in Heavy Wool
Class 7: Best Piece of Emoidery
Class 8: Best Article in Crochet Work in Cotton
Class 9: Best Crochet Blanket
Class 10: Best Article in Patchwork
Class 11: Novelty Pin cushion
Class 12: Best Home-Made Cushion - Any material
Class 13: Best Needlework Picture
Class 14: Best Home-Made Soft Toy
Class 15: Best Article In Handcraft
Class 16: Article of Handcraft - confined to residents of nursing homes
Class 17: Article of Handcraft - confined to people with special needs.
