138: The Bord Bia All Ireland Quality Potato Championship

RULES & CONDITIONS
1. Each exhibit is to consist of the following: A dish of 6 potatoes of any variety – to be correctly named. Each tuber should be free from skin blemishes, be true to type & weigh approximately 6 oz (170 g).
2. Two exhibits to qualify at each show.
3. This being a quality championship, the adjudicators will favour floury, high-dry-matter varieties, which are popular with the Irish customer.
4. These rules should be read in conjunction with the ISA Rules.
5. The marquee is open from 7.30am & will be closed for judging at 10am sharp. The marquee will open to the public at 12 noon.
6. Exhibits cannot be removed before 5.00pm.
7. An exhibitor can only qualify one exhibit for the All-Ireland final. Criteria for judging potatoes available from the Tullamore Show. Tel: 057 93 52141

**All entries are to be submitted on www.oldcastleshow.ie.**
All exhibitors must pay at the gate.
First-prize winners from Classes 77-95 (excluding Class 93) will compete for the Betty Porter Perpetual Cup, which will be awarded by the judge.
1st Prize: €15, 2nd Prize: €10; 3rd Prize: €5
