Rules & Conditions

  1. Limited to 100 entries.
  2. Participants must be 18 years or older & must have signed a waiver on the day of the competition before being allowed to begin.
  3. This is an amateur-only competition.
  4. No professional eaters need apply.
  5. The competition consists of 10 heats of 10, with the competitor who is fastest to finish a single apple tart in each heat going on to the final, where they will go head to head with the other heat winners.
  6. The quickest of the finalists to eat a single apple tart will then be crowned All-Ireland Apple Tart Eating Champion.
  7. If there is a closely fought finish, the judges' decision will be final; however, in the unlikely event of a draw, there will be a tiebreaker to decide the winner.
