Rules & Conditions
- Limited to 100 entries.
- Participants must be 18 years or older & must have signed a waiver on the day of the competition before being allowed to begin.
- This is an amateur-only competition.
- No professional eaters need apply.
- The competition consists of 10 heats of 10, with the competitor who is fastest to finish a single apple tart in each heat going on to the final, where they will go head to head with the other heat winners.
- The quickest of the finalists to eat a single apple tart will then be crowned All-Ireland Apple Tart Eating Champion.
- If there is a closely fought finish, the judges' decision will be final; however, in the unlikely event of a draw, there will be a tiebreaker to decide the winner.
