RULES & CONDITIONS

  1. This Competition is open to all Breeds of Crossbred Ewes
  2. An exhibitor shall qualify a maximum of two ewes for the final.
  3. All ewes must have four or more permanent teeth.
  4. Ewes qualifying for this final are ineligible for entry to other classes at the Bantry Show.
  5. Two ewes in each qualifying show may be selected to compete in the final, provided the judges agree the standard is high enough.
  6. All exhibitors must wear a white coat and have their number clearly visible at the final.
  7. The exhibitor must fill out their own qualifying card at each qualifying show.
  8. The rules should be read in conjunction with the ISA General Rules & Bantry Show Rules.
    Location: Bantry Show Date: Sun, 17th Aug, 2025  Entry Fee: To Final: €15
    Prizes: 1st - €300, & Sash, 2nd - €200, 3rd - €150, 4th - €100, 5th - €75, 6th - to 10th €50

Important Notice:
Exhibitors must pay at the gate.
The committee has decided to maintain the admission fee at €10, keeping the event accessible & affordable for everyone.
Please note that exhibitor passes will not be issued along with exhibitor numbers this year.
We're also pleased to announce that the prize money for our classes has been increased, reflecting our commitment to rewarding excellence.
We believe this event offers outstanding entertainment at a minimal cost, & we look forward to welcoming you!
Please read the Oldcastle Agricultural Show Rules & Regulations:
Championship winners will be photographed with their cups on show day; cups will not be removed from the show.
Prizes: 1 - €50 & rosette, 2 - €30 & rosette, 3 - €20 & rosette
Judging starts at 10.00 am.
