29: The ISA & The Dept of Agricultural Presents the Breeders Choice Tradional 4* OR 5* Breeding Heifer

 RULES & CONDITIONS
1. This competition is open to all traditional genotype 4* or 5* breeding heifers suitable to make a suckler cow.
2. A full tag number must be submitted with the entry to ensure that the genotype rating can be verified.
3. Heifers may be in calf or maiden. All heifers must be between 12 and 24 months of age on the date of the show.
4. Each heifer can only enter this competition at up to five shows. Any further prize money will be forfeited if a horse enters more than five shows.
5. All heifers must be halter-trained & led by a competent adult.
6. The previous rules should be read with ISA General Rules.
Prizes: 1st €250; 2nd €125; 3rd €75; 4th–8th €50

Cattle - Opening Notes

Exhibitors must pay at the gate.
The committee has decided to maintain the admission fee at €10, keeping the event accessible & affordable for everyone.
Please note that exhibitor passes will not be issued along with exhibitor numbers this year.
We're also pleased to announce that the prize money for our classes has been increased, reflecting our commitment to rewarding excellence.
We believe this event offers outstanding entertainment at a minimal cost, & we look forward to welcoming you!

Judging will commence at 10 am. Weighing of classes: 8.30 - 10.00 am Weights will be determined using the official Oldcastle Show scales only. Entries will be weighed only once
Please read the Oldcastle Agricultural Show Rules & Regulations:
Championship winners will be photographed with their cups on show day; cups will not be removed from the show.
Vouchers or products may be given instead of money.
Prizes: 1st, €100 & rosette; 2nd, €60 & rosette; 3rd, €40 & rosette or otherwise stated.
5% ISA levy, unless otherwise stated.
Rule 10 applies.
